November Bonding Event at The Sushi House
We transformed the Orlando Sushi House into a modern, Japanese dining room surrounded by Bamboo accents and peaceful Water Walls and used our White Eccentric line along with our White Lacquer tables along the restaurant's perimeter for seating which also doubled as a working table to roll and enjoy sushi rolls. In the center of the restaurant our Hepburn Bar tables and Mocha Leather cafe stools created a good working area as well as completed the Zen feel.
Thanks to the knowledgeable and generous sushi chef Mr. Dunn, who provided us with all the tools we needed, we were able to learn how to make our own sushi rolls, learned Japanese dining customs, and even had a sake ceremony! This was definitely a creative bonding experience!
Thanks to Heather Wilson and Robyn Jacobs of ME Productions, Bill Masterson, Keirsten Dossey, Amy Leas, and Jay Tappen of Experience Florida, Debbe King and Raul Balda from Lynx, Maisa Kingstone of Heaven Event Center, Melissa Collier and Emma Casares of Hello Florida, and Nia Netane and Vika Netane of Netane Entertainment for making it, we really appreciate it and had such a great time with everyone. Please be on the lookout for our next bonding event on December 11…Check out the pictures by E. from Epic Photography

ISES Orlando- September Meeting- Heavenly Holidaze
September's monthly meeting for ISES Orlando was a grand one at that and all for a great cause.
Helping Association Professionals in Need that is what the SEARCH Foundation is all about and this monthly meeting helped raise money for SEARCH for their ongoing mission to help event professionals across the country who are in need and experiencing difficult and devastating times.
This past, Tuesday, September 16, 2008, our member association's Orlando chapter - The International Special Event Society (ISES) hosted their 2nd annual “ISES Gives Back” event to a crowd of close to 200 attendees.
Unique Option had the pleasure of sponsoring the event along with an impressive line-up of 18 ISES Orlando companies that collaborated together and showcased over $100,000 worth of event services and products.
The ISES Program team and sponsors created a winter wonderland themed event entitled Heavenly Holidaze - a befitting theme which tied into the 7,000 square feet venue named- Heaven Event Center- Max King Realty’s newest event space and office condo in the industrial business district in South Orlando.
We also provided Orlando’s top 3 catering companies- Arthur’s Catering, Big City Catering, Puff ‘n Stuff with an amazing group of furniture to showcase their array of cuisine samplings from Moroccan to Far East tastings.
The interior of the space was decked out in white and ice blue tones, which complimented the theme beautifully. Plush white furniture groupings and catering displays were provided by Unique Option, with floral accents on top by Cheryl’s Distinctive Creations. A frosted bar and light-up displays for the silent auction were provided by Ice Magic. Flourish Productions designed purple and gold heart-shaped accents, which complimented the SEARCH foundation logo. The red carpet entrance with stansions, staging and backdrop were provided by C&S Themed Events. ASI Production Services added white sateen pipe and drape to frame the stage. Additional linen accents were contributed by Kirby Rentals.
Audio, lighting design and production support came from Chameleon Designs, with special touches including a laser grafitti screen and water effects outside the venue. The musical acts included International Chanteuse Morganne (sponsored by Bravo Entertainment), Tina Turner-impersonator Brenda White (self-represented) and local a capella act 4:2:Five (sponsored by Metropolis Productions).
Videography was provided by Optumedia, and photography by Christie’s Photographic Studios. A video montage with sponsor logos, provided by W5 Creative, provided visual interest as guests entered the event. Airstar America provided an illuminated airstar balloon at the front entrance, complete with ISES logo.
