2nd Annual Taste of NACE

August 26th, 2008- The Florida West Coast and Orlando chapters of the National Association of Catering Executives hosted the 2nd annual Taste of NACE event at Lakeland's Fantasy of Flight.

Taste of NACE is a yearly event where The National Association of Catering Executives member companies collaborate to exhibit their best menu selections as well as display their company capabilities in front of fellow members and associates. This year, Unique Option had the pleasure of sponsoring the event furniture for the fashion show portion of the evening. We also enlisted local Orlando entertainer- Ashley Sommers to strike a pose on the runway and represent as our model for the show.

Fatone Foundation Charity Event at Howl at the Moon

Thursday July 31, 2008, We had the pleasure to participate as a contributor to the Fatone Foundation's charitable event at Howl at the Moon on I-Drive. Providing the furniture for the exclusive VIP lounge-our sleek and funky Red Eccentric sofas, topaz maple coffee tables, black wrap chairs and tower cafe tables graced the area, adding the perfect element . Former N SYNC'er and now famous for his movie parts and television gigs on NBC and TLC's Singing Office, hosted the 3rd Annual Rock on the Moon & Sing with the Stars Charity Celebration. Once again, Joey and his celebrity friends- who included Alfonso Ribeiro, Deborah Gibson, Jackass' Wee-man, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight & Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block took over Howl at the Moon to raise money for the Fatone Family Foundation. Proceeds of the event went towards the new playroom at the Florida Children's Hospital.

Puff N' Stuff...

Last week, We had the pleasure to host the awesome Orlando Catering Group - Puff N' Stuff.

They treated us to an amazing lunch here at the office. In addition, one of our floral partners- Greenery Productions helped accentuate the office with some amazing arrangements especially designed for their visit.

Before our luncheon, we took the Puff N' Stuff event team on a tour of our warehouse which included 3 transformed areas that displayed a few of our many furniture groupings...

FSAE and Kirklands Destination Management

This July we partnered up with the South Florida division of Kirkland's Destination Management Group.

The Occasion: The Florida Society of Association Executives were in town for their 2008 annual Conference Committee at the Breakers Palm Beach luxury oceanfront hotel.

The Kirkland Events team hosted the group's reception at the Ritz Carlton Palm Beach. Kirklands transformed the reception space into a A Great Gatsby 1920's themed room, complete with flapper girls, and our black leather intrigue furniture collection and natural steel coffee tables to match. Lot's of food, music and fun!
We look forward to many successful events to come with Kirkland's!

Our amazing Sales Manager Penny Macioszek played host and moderator for our quarterly sales retreat at the Unique Option headquarters.

We had a full house! Our entire staff from South Florida, Orlando and our newest Account Executive from Tampa were all in attendance.

During our sales retreat we laughed, we learned and enjoyed great food-- the fabulous cake was created and made by our very own Dianne Honel, Unique Option now offers custom cakes, if you have the need and budget, we just might be able to package it in your next order! A picture is worth a thousand words- that saying definitely speaks truth, a couple of weeks ago they did a photo shoot with Rachel of Elase Medical Spa here in Orlando for their upcoming ad campaign and once again our highly popular Eccentric White sofa appeared in the shoot, with a beautiful Toni Braxton look-a-like gracing over the sofa. This shot truly shows our items having diversified usage and can be functional for even a high power, sexy photo shoot...

Drum roll please..... Unique Option is delighted to announce our furniture's silver screen debut on the nationally syndicated morning news program- The Daily Buzz.

July 1st, 2008, marks the day, we are proud to be featured on the set of the Daily Buzz. Our orange sofas and Topaz Maple coffee table & end table appeared on the show today and will be a staple on the set for the next couple of months till our new rotation arrives, and hosts, Kia Malone & Andy Campbell gave rave reviews...
